Is anyone else having a problem with this. When I started Lyft I had, no exaggeration, about a 75% cancellation rate. It is now a little less than 50%. The real problem is about 20% of the rides that are cancelled are cancelled more than two minutes into the damn call, and I haven't been paid so much as one thin dime for any of them. Lyft continues to claim that the rides are cancelled in a minute or less, however, it takes me damn near that long just to get into my car, and get out of the parking lot of my condo complex, and the calls are usually cancelled at least 2 miles down the road after that. Including time for the traffic light at the intersection those calls are at least two to three minutes if not longer.
I am beginning to believe that Lyft is charging the client and screwing the drivers. Any thoughts?
