I'm going to begin driving next week with a Lyft rental and just wanted to get some feedback on anyone that's taken advantage of the program? I need to complete 50 rides a week to avoid the rental fee, which doesn't sound bad except I have another full time job so I may be scrambling to get all 50 in. I'm getting a Chevy Equinox (what I picked out of a choice of 3) and has the highest rental rate of the 3 ($230 a week). Does anyone else have a similar situation where their having a hard time completing the 50 rides? That's really my biggest concern. Thanks!

I've been driving for Lyft for a while now, I haven't done the rental program but I do have some experience that might help.
50 rides in a week does require some strategy. You'll likely have to drive during high demand times to meet that number. Either morning rush hour, evening rush hour, weekend nights or some combination of those.
It also helps to drive in a city with solid ride demand. Where are you driving with Lyft?

Detroit. I live about 30 min. north of the city and all 4 sports teams are down there now, so I'll have to do some driving if I want to take advantage of that. I am 5 minutes from the Palace of Auburn Hills though (which the Pistons played at until the end of this season)

I live in Los Angeles. I got the Equinox. I have to do 85 rides to make my quota. Hopefully I can meet my quota and turn a reasonable profit.
